There's no bullet proof glass at that liquor store, but you have to get buzzed in and the wine selection is lame.

My comments exactly Dan -- and I think that store has been there for at least 18 mos. But bulletproof or no, the liquor store on Nostrand between Sterling and Lefferts has a way better wine selection (not great, but OK).

Photo #2 -- this building had a substantial tree growing that was rooted inside the building. It was fairly open and accessible, maybe they just secured it. Another part of the building had a security gate half open and could be accessed with ease.

There was a sign at one point on a nearby building saying storage units were "coming soon" -- maybe this is photo #3 -- I forget exactly where the sign was. Anyway, images of these sites taken in October 2006:
