We stopped in on the open house on Sunday at 306 Lincoln Rd. As a quick aside, they seem to have open houses just about daily, so if you're curious you can stop in whenever you want.
Contrary to popular belief, these are true two bedroom units. It's the living areas that are sans windows, not the bedrooms, which are at opposite ends of the apartment. One bedroom has a separate entrance should that be desirable to the owner. We were told that the layout is due to the fact that each unit is actually two of the prior units put together.
At best, the renovation is tolerable. At worst, it's pretty dang tacky. The kitchen backsplashes include intermittent images of fruit. The bathrooms are very floral. The hallways are adorned with super-padded hotel style burgundy floral carpeting... the padding indicates to us that the floor underneath is incredibly uneven and in bad shape. Each unit has a washer and dryer, but there isn't really an appropriate place for them. They're basically stuck in the middle of a hallway, fully exposed.
All that said, there are only like two units left. Get 'em while they're hot!!
Or better yet, keep looking.

Two words: Railroad apartment.
