Pool Gains Momentum

With all the buzz about proposed plans for the Wollman Rink is Prospect Park, PLGers have been at the forefront of a new, bold plan for the park: a swimming pool.

If you would like to show your support for the project, you can sign the online petition.  You can also head to the meeting at the Wollman Rink to discuss the entire project tomorrow night at 6pm.

A pool could be nice.  It would certainly be a lively attraction on our side of the park.

A pool would be ok. I'm not crazy about public pools but I guess there's no harm. I'd rather see a performance venue like what they have on the other side.

you do not have to pay a fee to sign the petition. it's a little sneaky the way the site is set it up to make it seem like you have to pay, but it's actually not required. try again and read carefully and you'll see.
