Lefferts South, the new condo development on Caton Ave. and Bedford Ave. opened recently, as reported by Brownstoner. There's a lot of criticism of the building, but we have to agree with Brownstoner and say that it's not so bad. Remember our post about the horrific structures on Fenimore St.?
It's not a work of art, but Lefferts South could be much worse. Given that it's leagues better than those nasty Fenimore structures, we're hopeful that the bar is on the upswing and we'll start seeing more aesthetically pleasing new structures in the hood.
Did we mention these units ain't cheap?
I've watched this building be built as I can see it from my apartment window. Its ugly I think, and too expensive for the area. Another little gentrified ghetto building I guess.
