Handyman to Lime.
After encountering much speculation about new activity at the old Handyman, we decided to go straight to the source: the new owner.
The plan is to open a bar called Lime, which is much more than a citrus fruit. The owner, Lou, informed us that "lime" means "to lounge, etc" among Trinidadians. Lou's plan is to attract a Carribbean following while creating additional theme nights that will cater to other demographics. When we spoke, he tossed around ideas such as having an 80's night and a jazz night (PLGArts - are you out there?).
Lou seems to have it together, so we're excited to see what unfolds at Lime.
Looks interesting. Where exactly is that?

Yeah, we've been waiting for this place to open...
now it's finally finished. And lemme tell ya, it looks amazing! The bar is very cool to see & TOUCH. The music is bumpin' -- Great sound system!
Can't wait till Summer; they promise to be BBQ'n Jerk Chicken & other stuff in the backyard. I didn't see the patio outback 'cuz it was pretty cold that nite but I hear it's just as nice as the bar inside.
My friends & I welcome this great addition to the neighborhood -- Good luck LIME BAR ;-)
