Best. Circus. Ever. I haven't heard one single thing here in my place. This makes Universal look bad. How could they be so loud when these people are so quiet?
Today, I bought tickets for this circus online. My excited toddler and I trotted over there to find a quiet, dark tent. I found one of the crew who told me that the sponsor had run out of money and left town without even paying them. Tickets are still for sale online although the company selling them says refunds will be issued once the cancellation is confirmed. Refunds are good, but it's hard to burst the bubble of an excited toddler: All the way home I heard "Mommy, I want the circle"
One reason why it may be so quiet, as reported just this evening on the Park Slope Parents email list:
"Today, I bought tickets online for the circus that's here for a week it the Woolman Rink parking lot. Claire and I trotted over there to find a quiet, dark tent. I found one of the crew who told me that the sponsor had run out of money and left town without even paying them. Tickets are still for sale online although the company selling them says refunds will be issued once the cancellation is confirmed."
There is very little noise from this circus.

Very unfortunate, if true.

This show has been canceled. Apparently, the sponsors ran out of money.

...I am speechless.
This says a lot about Prospect Park's due diligence. As in, not much.
After all the noise problems with UniverSoul, they decide to bring in another circus and it turns out to be a fly-by-night operation?
I tried to simply comment on the noise difference and not get into the parks's management, but... WTF?
